And here's Toby's entry to Summers Woodworking's 2nd Annual Birdhouse Build Contest 2014. Toby is our expert when it comes to software in the Bluesbarn Studio and a  very good guitar player. On his last day of the summer-holiday he used the table-saw and the miter-saw for the first time, well, it's his first woodworking project ever! The birdhouse is made out of recycled wood and other materials! Oh, by the way, he also had time to record the background music for this video!

Yes, we want to join the Summers Woodworking Second Annual Birdhouse Build Contest. But where to start? How to get the inspiration for a unusual birdhouse that isn't made before by somebody else? Walking in the woods along the river Zezere, being followed by ghosts and voices, I found my inspiration... the wild canary!

#11 A cold shower at the end of a warm holiday season

The holiday season is almost over. We're looking back on weeks with a lot of music, musicians and talented kids. Yes we, at Not Just Sawdust, also run a little recording studio and it keeps us busy especially during the summer. The wood workshop has been abandoned for 6 weeks, but we're back!

In this video some recordings we've made, the simple construction of a laundry wash basin, out of recycled wood and "skip found" materials and .... a cold shower at the end of a warm holiday season!

#10 There's only one thing on my mind

There's only one thing on my mind lately... I won't tell you what it is, just watch the video until the end. But it is on my mind all the time, when I'm getting up at 5 in the morning, when I bring her to the train station, when I'm driving home.....
